Three men charged in the 2001 gangland-style killing of Miami Subs and SunCruz Casinos founder Gus Boulis have pleaded not guilty.Anthony ''Big Tony'' Moscatiello, 67; Anthony ''Little Tony'' Ferrari, 48; and James ''Pudgy'' Fiorillo, 28, entered the pleas Monday in Broward Circuit Court in Fort Lauderdale.The men were arrested in September in connection with the Feb. 6, 2001, killing of Boulis in his car after he left his Fort Lauderdale office.A grand jury indicted them on charges of first-degree murder and conspiracy to commit first-degree murder.
Moscatiello and Ferrari are also charged with solicitation to commit first-degree murder, with prosecutors accusing them of trying to solicit a fourth man to join the plot.All three are being held in the Broward County jail.Boulis, 51, was shot to death at the wheel of his car by a gunman who had pulled alongside. The shooting happened amid a bitter dispute over SunCruz, which Boulis had sold in September 2000 for $147.5 million to Washington lobbyist Jack Abramoff and New York businessman Adam Kidan.
