DES MOINES, Iowa Authorities are investigating an attack on a top aide to Iowa Senator Charles Grassley.The senator's staff says Emilia DiSanto was hit with a blunt object at her Virginia home on Wednesday and required stitches.
Grassley's staff says authorities don't know if the attack was related to DiSanto being chief investigator for the Senate Finance Committee.
DiSanto returned to work the next day. Staff members are being advised to be cautious.
