"The 9/11 commission did not learn of any U.S. government knowledge prior to 9/11 of surveillance of Mohammed Atta or of his cell," said Hamilton, a former Democratic congressman from Indiana. "Had we learned of it obviously it would've been a major focus of our investigation." --from the AP story currently on the wire.

The Bush administration has , all along, represented 9/11 as a surprise attack a la Pearl Harbor. The neocons lamented in 1999 that it would take an event like Pearl Harbor to provide the justification for a 'projection of American hegemony' in the Middle East including 'regime change' in Iraq. Is 'the dot' connected yet?
Treasongate, the AIPAC spy affair and this story are connected in my opinion. Bush's 'lame duck' status and continuing revelations like this are brewing the 'perfect storm', I hope. I'd like the whole truth please. "Faster, please", as madman Michael Ledeen puts it.
