Pew Research Center for the People & the Press survey conducted by Princeton Survey Research Associates International. Oct. 6-10, 2005. N=1,500 adults nationwide. MoE ± 3 (for all adults).
.
"In the long run, do you think George W. Bush will be a successful or unsuccessful president, or do you think it is too early to tell?"
.
Successful:26%
Un-successful:41%
Too EarlyTo Tell:30%
Unsure:3%

I heard an audio clip today of Mary Matilin on the BILL O'LOOFAH SHOW saying that "Bill Clinton had polling numbers as low as this" and history has "judged him a success".
Wow! A bald-faced lie and kind words for BC. Signs and wonders. The lowest BC went was 52% I believe.
And if you wondering why the Dems aren't saying much think of that old saying: Never get in the way of a perfectly good train wreck.
Exciting times ahead. Let the indictments fly.
