Nothing left for the people
At a performance at the Dakota Bar and Grill on Wednesday night, Dr. John dedicated a song to "all the politicians who have raped my home state of Louisiana." He continued: "Had they left those wetlands in the Gulf the way they was, most of this wouldn't have happened. It's what happens when everybody's pocketing the money and not leaving nothing for the people."
